You Belong Here With Me, My Darling is a show about belonging. Jenny is trying to figure out where she belongs in the wake of seismic change and loss. Using the idea of Kintsugi* - Friends, Home, Memories, Misadventures, Queer Joy and maybe even some Otters will be the golden glue to put her back together again. Life might not be the same again, but it will look more beautiful than ever before.
This is the second instalment of Jenny Foulds’ trilogy of shows that started with her whirlwind adventure, Life Learnings of a Nonsensical Human which was loved by so many at both Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe in 2023 and will be touring the UK in Spring 2025. (You don't need to have seen the first show to see this one).
*KINTSUGI 金継ぎ - The Japanese Art of Kintgusi is putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold — built on the idea that in embracing flaws and imperfections, you can create something even stronger and more beautiful.
