More Info

Wilswood buoys Josh and Joe are an acoustic duo from Mersea Island who formed in summer 2017, starting out as just a couple of mates having a jam things quickly turned into writing music. Both of the 'buoys' had a completely different upbringing in terms of musical styles. This led them down a path of intertwining many genres into one, to form a raw and fresh alt / folk island sound, with catchy riffs and big choruses. 2021 was huge for the band, with highlights of supporting Frank Turner in Colchester and playing the Nick Alexander Stage at Lost Evenings IV at The Roundhouse in London. 2023 has been a huge year for these guys having supported Frank Turner throughout his UK tour, and then The Levellers on numerous dates, you really don't want to miss this opportunity to see them in an intimate setting. Special guest on this tour is HENSHAW Spring 2022 had Henshaw as part of the Xtra Mile Recordings / Nick Alexander Music Trust PET NEEDS Tour, then in the Autumn he went out to Germany with the PET NEEDS lads to support them on a highly successful tour. Henshaw released his NEW ALBUM in May 2022 called "NOBODY CARES, WORK HARDER" and a busy year with appearances at the incredible REBELLION Festival, Hear for the Music and Ey Up Mi Duck festivals and a host of other shows. NOBODY CARES, WORK HARDER is the follow up to the hugely acclaimed FIVE COMPASS LIGHTHOUSE which was released in 2019 Early 2020 saw HENSHAW team up with Dan Booth from FEROCIOUS DOG to play a short run of intimate duet gigs that was hugely popular and received universally positive feedback. The pair also released "REVISIT" a duet album consisting of 10 Henshaw penned songs. They celebrated the end of lockdown with a SOLD OUT show in Feb 2022.
