TSlammers

TSlammers is an 8-piece Soul Band paying tribute to some of the finest Soul and Motown artistes from the 70’s. TSlammers set is designed to Dance & Party to. Their music makes 60-year-olds remember being 18 and still excites todays 18 to 30s. We play it as it was. No Cabaret & Schmaltz - this is no gentle toned-down cruise ship cover act! - Just hard hitting, foot stomping, thigh slapping, Funky but live sweet soul music, as it was and as it should be remembered. Some of TSlammers musicians played in the original Soul Touring acts of Lee Dorsey, Fontella Bass, Inez & Charlie Foxx, The Drifters, The Platters, Percy Sledge, plus some that have been forgotten in the mists of time between 1969 and 1973. The youthful appearance of the Band is assured by continually living in the past and the benefit of playing Soul, Funk and Disco for the greater part of their lives. The band brings alive the music of the Legendary record labels of Stax Volt, Tamla Motown, Atlantic, Chess and many other soul labels. 7.30PM £6ADV 18+
