The South Coast Trombone Choir is a brand new ensemble in 2023, with members young to old, beginner to professional. We're a completely inclusive ensemble, and exist to enjoy playing all types of trombone music together!
This iteration of the SCTC is a collection of very best jazz trombonists on the coast, playing with a top notch rhythm section of Tom Phelan (keys), Terry Pack (bass) and Joe Edwards (drums).
Come along to hear tunes by jazz trombone heroes J.J. Johnson, Bill Watrous and others; played by a dozen trombonists led by Michael Pilley and featuring Mike Hext, Chris Valentine and James Prior, among others.
