Andy Roberts
Andy Roberts has had a long, varied and remarkable career playing with Scaffold, Liverpool Scene, Plainsong, GRIMMS, Roy Harper, Hank Wangford, Billy Connolly, Pink Floyd, Spitting Image, the Albion Band, Maddie Prior, Cat Stevens, Kevin Ayers, the Bonzo Dog Band, Richard Thompson, Kirsty MacColl, Maggie Reilly, Dennis Locorriere and Twiggy, amongst many others.
He wrote his first stage musical (Mind Your Head) in 1973, his first TV score in 1974, and became music director at the Royal Court Theatre from 1979 until 1983. He has scored films for the BBC, Miramax, ABCTV in the US, and Disney (Touchstone Films) in Hollywood, and has written extensively for TV drama and factual programmes. In 2017, he performed his setting of Roger McGough’s poem series Summer With Monika alongside Roger, with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
Andy continues to tour, occasionally solo, but mostly as a band member on his principal instrument, the guitar. He currently is lead guitar with Mike Berry & The Outlaws, and Roxabit, and will be touring extensively with Iain Matthews in 2025, billed as Plainsong Lite. A new 4 piece line-up for Plainsong is currently being contemplated for 2026, the year in which both he and Iain Matthews will turn 80.

Dirty Scavenger
Dirty Scavenger spent her late teenage years living on the streets, scavenging for food using music, & developing her vocal, guitar & songwriting skills. Dirty Scavenger's music is dark, raw, and full of angst. Influenced by Jo's many life experiences and by some of the greatest rock bands of all time, she writes songs with dark melodic guitar riffs and deep and meaningful, soulful lyrics, and conveys them with precision on the guitar and powerful raw vocals. Often described by many as mesmerizing to watch.
