The Brighton Beach Boys return with their popular Kinks show...the seminal album "Village Green Preservation Society" played in it's entirety. Cited as a major influence by artists such as Paul Weller and Damon Albarn, the Village Green album captures Ray Davies at the apex of his songwriting abilities during a period that also produced classic singles such as Waterloo Sunset and Sunny Afternoon, which are also included in this show, in a second set of fabulous hits from '65-'80.
