More Info
An afternoon of proper music from 4 of the UK’s most exciting new guitar bands. Pedestrian Band, Dreamhaus, Auntie and Temeraire - all ones to watch. No wristband required.
Pedestrian Band is a three-piece based in East London consisting of Enzo (guitar/vocals), Ace (bass), and Milo (drums/vocals). With influences ranging from post-hardcore to 80s synth pop to country, the trio combine complex and often heavily distorted arrangements with gentle passages, anchored by intricate yet sensitive melodies giving form to their punchy, politically charged and often satirical lyricism.
An American, a Scotsman and two Englishwomen walk into a bar. What happens?
...Dreamhaus
A London based band making music out of their flat in Peckham. Dreamhaus’ sound sits somewhere between shoegaze, post grunge, indie rock, and Midwest emo. They can’t quite decide, so come see for yourself.
Liverpool based band Temeraire is a guitar-heavy four-piece blending hooks and memorable melodies. Fronted by Jake Holloway (guitar/vocals) with Sam Horsfield (guitar), Bill Wells (bass), and Marc Thompson-Pueyo (drums), the band delivers a loud, unfiltered sound rooted in ‘2000s alternative and modern rock. With acclaim from established music magazines, and comparisons to Kings of Leon and Palma Violets, Gaining traction from supporting Bands such as Hotel Lux and DBA!. Temeraire have proved that they can fit into any environment that is put in their direction.
