We’re back at @brunswickpub in Hove with three fantastic speakers. Last month, we explored the social basis of Trump in the Sopranos, Transmisogyny, and Cybersyn — this time, we’ve got another great lineup for you:

Jak Hutchcraft: Punks, Prophets, Ravers & Radicals

Journalist and documentary filmmaker (VICE, The Guardian, The Face), Jak will share stories from his time documenting esoteric religious groups, fringe political movements, and underground subcultures. His new documentary Right Here, Right Now is out now on Sky.

Poppy Burt: Youth homelessness

Poppy is a support coordinator at The Clock Tower Sanctuary and ACORN secretary. Poppy will discuss her work supporting homeless and insecurely housed young people in Brighton, and the challenges they face today.

Andrew (Brighton Radical History): Brighton Against Fascism

From the 1930s to today, Brighton has a long history of anti fascist resistance. Andrew, who runs radical history walks, will present short films and key episodes of the city's fight against fascism.
