+ House of plenty + Sekinue x Bee & Jackrabbit Three Brighton musical acts each with a unique sound and style are coming together to bring you an exciting and varied night of live music. If your love of music spans beyond genres, this is a night you won’t want to miss. Social Wildcard - A Beatles inspired eclectic group of multi-instrumentalists showcasing their original work with one or two covers mixed in. There is no single genre that covers everything they have to play, so they came up with their own term: DIY Pop. With two lead singers and an instrument line up that changes song to song, Social Wildcard guarantees to bring something new to every gig they play. House of Plenty - 5-piece rock band from Brighton. Having sold out their most recent gig, House of Plenty are back on stage to bring you a set filled with heavy guitars, home made synth parts, and a whole lot of energy. Sekinue - Sekinue aka Esme Anderson is a multi instrumentalist singer songwriter specialising in the celtic lever harp. As well as playing with local folktronica band Greenness, they have been steadily building up a following on the London and Brighton scene since 2019. Captivating audiences by combining their immersive harp dream-scapes with raw, dark lyricism; drawing from the intensity of Elliott Smith and the melodic charm of Belle and Sebastian. Tonight they are coming together with Bee & Jackrabbit, a chamber-pop band combining elements of folk, punk, indie and classical music. Key members Piper Murray (guitar and vocals) Robin Squirrell (cello and vocals) and Nick Williams (synths and vocals) create layered harmonies, intricate arrangements and powerful melodies alongside sharp, witty and observant lyrics. 7.45PM £8/£10 18+
