Join Slim and his band of Grievous Angels for an evening of music drawn from a multitude of influences.

We'll travel across the high prairie, the Delta and over the pond to the mean streets of south London and Woking to visit a mix of very fine songs from the 60s through to at least 1979. We might even creep into the 1980s briefly.

This is the debut gig for the band, all of whom have played in other groups in this and the previous millenium. Moderately accomplished would be an ambitious description but whilst aspirations of greatness are kept firmly in check, a sense of fun and an ear for a good crowd pleaser will, we hope, compensate for the odd bum note here and there.

We will be supported by the 'ludicrously well dressed' indie band World Cup Winners. Their debut single, Brothers, is available on all the best streaming services. Frankly they should be headlining but we've paid for the venue, so tough.

Tickets are £10 plus booking fee. All proceeds will go to local East Sussex charity, Music Lifeline, which does an amazing job providing access to all forms of music to children across East Sussex unable to experience its joys through school or at home. www.musiclifeline.org.uk
