Scott Clay's highly anticipated sixth studio album, ‘Jade’, is due for release in May 2024. The first track from the new album ‘One for the Road’ is out on February 9th. It peeks underneath the layers of traditional Americana to reveal the Nashville songwriter immersed in the midst of his alchemical storytelling. Complex yet uncomplicated, the album’s eleven tracks roam from funky ‘60s-inspired riffs to modern experimental folk ballads, while his unabashed lyrics and distinctive voice invite listeners on an introspective journey.
Over the years, Clay has shared the stage with notable acts such as Drayton Farley, The Brothers Reed, and Ian Jones. His journey as a performing artist sets the stage for an exciting upcoming UK tour in January. Testing out the British waters earlier in October, he joined forces with Dave Hemingway, a member of the renowned British band The Beautiful South.
Nia Nicholls is a singer/songwriter who’s been writing and performing since she was 11 years old. Nia has garnered support from many country icons, including the “My Girl” singer, Dylan Scott, who cited she was “one to watch”. UK country act, Twinnie, also made Nia her opening act on her tour back in the summer of 2021.
Nia has received much airplay from BBC Radio Solent and BBC Radio Wales, with Roy Noble and Frank Hennessy interviewing her and playing her latest music on their shows. Recently, her single “Exes” was made BBC Introducing’s Track of the Week.
Nia has spent the last two months over in the states, where she has been performing and co-writing in Texas, Nashville and Memphis. This comes after she hit 1 million streams across her releases on Spotify.
Currently, Nia is supporting American songwriter, Dean Friedman, on a few of his UK tour dates in 2024.
