The event is designed to unite both LGBTQ+ community members and allies, ensuring a fun, safe and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
This month’s acts are:
Joe Black, a dynamic British performer, best known for his dark cabaret style that blends humour, music, and the macabre. Rising to prominence with his charismatic and theatrical presence, Joe Black is celebrated for his sharp wit and distinctive aesthetic, often inspired by vintage glamour and gothic influences. He gained widespread recognition after appearing on RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 2, where his unique style and campy performances captivated audiences. With a career that spans live performances, music, and hosting, Joe Black continues to be a bold and unforgettable figure in the alternative performance scene.
Sam Williams, a comedian known for his confessional and vivid stand-up style, has garnered several accolades throughout his career. Most notably, he won the 2023 Komedia New Comedy Award, a prestigious recognition in the UK comedy circuit. He was also a runner-up in the 2021 Chortle Student Comedy Award and a finalist in both the 2022 Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and the 2Northdown New Act of the Year. These achievements have solidified his reputation as a rising star in the British comedy scene.
James O’Donoghue, a talented comedian known for his sharp wit and unique perspective. Describing himself humorously as a “depressed nonbinary Jewish Marxist,” James has garnered attention for his ability to combine humour with thoughtful social commentary. His work has earned praise from critics and fellow comedians, with Tony Law calling him “f*ckin’ awesome,” and Aberystwyth Ego naming him “one to watch.”
Jimmy Tam, a British-Chinese queer comedian who tells short, sharp and sometimes saucy jokes about my gaysian life and ho-ritage! He was a Rising Star New Act Competition 2023 finalist.
Tristan Wolfe (MC) is a versatile and dynamic creative force in the world of performance. In 2024, he made waves by winning *Queerovision*, a prestigious award celebrating LGBTQ+ talent.
