More Info
First signed back in 1999 to management and a label with credits including Chaka Kahn, Air Supply, Sheena Easton and The Three Degrees. Anthony Jackson-Stubbs & his band PALEDAY’s original ‘Love the Groove’ album was mixed by Jimmy ‘the mixologist’ Sarikas (Culture Club) and mastered at Abbey Road by Geoff Pesche (Spice Girls, Kylie). Despite great reviews, hundreds of thousands of streams, multiple main stage appearances at London & other Prides, and even a short-lived TV pilot, PALEDAY’s fire has never quite hit the promised ascendant. In 2025, with a strong LGBTQIA+ message, the Defects EP challenged the still un-banned and controversial so-called ‘Conversion Therapy’ head on. Now, in 2026, brand new PALEDAY album ‘Son of Peg’ is released on all major streaming services on 18th July, and this Brunswick gig is the live launch party. Expect pumping disco pop, earworms and torch song ballads for a harmonically fantastic good time. Featuring Anthony on keys and lead vocals, and sultry rhythm guitarist Oscar Habas teasing out more funky licks than is genuinely healthy. Book in advance as we do expect to sell out.
