Jazz Swan Lake - Open Rehearsal With Pete Long

Join the Lewes Big Band in a rare opportunity to attend an open rehearsal led by the Ronnie Scott’s Big Band Director, Pete Long, in preparation for their Jazz Swan Lake tour. In this open rehearsal, Pete Long will be worshipping his jazz arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake Suite. The Lewes Big Band was formed in 2019 as the Lewes Youth Band, since then they have gone on to play at Glyndebourne Opera House, Factory Live Worthing, Con Club Lewes and All Saints Centre Lewes. The Lewes Big Band's musicians include graduates or current students across many of the UK's leading music institutions such as Royal College of Music, Royal Academy of Music, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, University of Chichester Conservatoire and Leeds Conservatoire.
