In Other Words: Brightons new Poetry Night

Our July event is here, and we’re going a little bit big for this one

Join us on 9th July at The Brunswick (main venue – fully accessible) for our Summer Spectacular, with doors opening at 7:30 pm.

Expect a really lovely, slightly chaotic (in a good way) evening of:

Open mic slots, whether you’ve got something polished or half-finished notes on your phone, bring it! A gorgeous headline poet, we can’t wait for you to hear

 And a live illustrator capturing whatever unfolds on the night (no pressure…)

It’s basically a room full of people sharing words, cheering each other on, and pretending it’s not a school night (it's on a Thursday, so basically the weekend).

Come read, come listen, come sit at the back and nod thoughtfully, all welcome. Bring a friend, bribe a date to come or your flatmate who needs to get out of the house more.

Advanced Ticket: £8, open mic ticket £6 and concessions £6

Ticket holders can enjoy 20% off food for 2 hours before doors!
