Hooks v Giants!

A great night of live music from Brighton's finest. Loads of great original indie music plus a smatter of covers to finish the night.

The Island Giants is a new incarnation of Brighton’s long-established DBs, but now with added sax and charismatic lead vocalist Flick. Showcasing an almost entirely new set of originals, expect a spirited and connected performance with the same expert musicianship and great songs, some you can whistle and some you can’t.

The first Tenderhooks album was released 20 years ago. Devil Rides Whites. The hooks'! ride on without ever seeming to slow-up.

Album 11 is due out this year, they are recording at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios in August. With Charl Cronje now adding his superb singing/song-writing/producing/guitar playing skills to the line up and the awesome Andy (Murdo) Murden on drums the line-up of 4 with band leader Markus Leinweber on vocals/keyboards/song-writing and the evergreen legend on bass Mike Phillips. Powerful and melodic, uplifting and anthemic songs will fill your hearts and minds. 

Tenderhooks's very own Charl Cronje will be playing a variety of well known covers to close out the night.
