We are packing out the Brunswick each and every month from October to April 2024 - and we hope your family can come along.

Each event is hosted by children’s singer-songwriter Al Start and themed differently (see below) with a different art activity included (arrive early to get making!)

Each event contains these tasty ingredients:

• Fantastic live music from Al Start aimed at Primary School aged kids and younger siblings
• Free art activity (from 2pm)
• Open mic for the kids to get on stage
• Silly stories, music games and sing-alongs
• A fun, relaxed vibe
• A warm welcome for every family - we are inclusive

Saturday 14th October - Spooky Special

We're kicking off our 2024 season with a good old Spooky Special - dust off your Halloween costumes and dress as spookily as you dare!

Expect live, interactive music from Al Start, the Kids' Open Mic, a spooky art activity and lots of fun for your whole family.

Saturday 18th November - Party Games

We're warming ourselves up with lots of action songs, music games, classic party games and silly stories this month.

Bright, sunny art activity - and come and sing us a song or tell us a joke in the Kids' Open Mic!

Sunday 10th December - Special Event: Big Gig for Little Monsters

We are celebrating the magical month with my WHOLE BAND!!!

This is a special event, a bit different from the usual Go Kid Music Club events. The full band will be with me - it's your chance to bring your kids to a REAL GIG!

Wear your best gear, do your hair rockstar-style and get those dancing shoes on!

Bring anything flashing, or glow-in-the-dark and get ready for one heck of a great gig!

HAPPY NEW YEAR - LET'S PARTY!

Put on your party outfit and grab those dancing shoes - let's party like it's 2024...cos it is!

Live music, funny stories, tell us what you got for Christmas, party games, arty-making and of course....the New Year Kids' OPEN MIC!

Saturday 10th February - Funny Furry Friends

This month we're celebrating our funny, furry friends...animals (not your dad!)

Come along to the Go Kid Music Club and your whole family can enjoy lots of great animal songs - sung live with Al Start, interactive games and stories about creatures great and small. Make a funny animal puppet-friend in the art activity and pop up on stage to show off in the Kids' Open Mic!

Wear your animal onesie or costume, bring your fave cuddly animal (not your actual real pet!) and enjoy a great family afternoon with lots of like-minded cool families.

Saturday 23rd March - It’s Nearly Easter

It really is nearly Easter! Spring is well on the way after that rather long winter, so let's celebrate the Natural World this month!

It's quite possibly the best family gig in town...and our season is coming to an end, this is our penultimate event for this season, so if you've never been - now's your chance!

Your kids will love the Easter-themed art activity, the interactive songs and silly stories and of course, the infamous Kids' Open Mic! You will love having a sit down, and giggle and a sing-along to some proper good live music that won't make your grown-up ears cry!

Saturday 20th April - Finalé

It's the GRAND FINALÉ.....our last show of this season - so please come celebrate a very special thing with me....YOUR KIDS!!

Yes, this month, your kids are the stars of the entire show - the KIDS' OPEN MIC will be the main attraction! This is their time to shine - and do what they do best (whatever that may be!)

So dress to impress, practice a song or a joke or two - we invite you to even come join your kids on stage for a spectacular family turn to give the Von Trapp family a run for their money!

Al Start will be your MC for the afternoon, warming up the crowd with excellent songs and fun. Then it's the main event…and whatever happens, you won't want to miss this very special treat of a show!
