We are a Saturday afternoon live music event for fun-loving families, hosted by children’s singer-songwriter, AL Start. Aimed at primary school age kids and their younger siblings, we are inclusive and interactive! ! All families welcome!

Once upon a time there was a cheery singer-songwriter called Al. She loved writing brilliant songs for children and their families. So one day she set off to The Brunswick in Hove, and invited all her friends to come along and enjoy a whole chilly, winter’s afternoon of live music and stories to celebrate the new year!

Yes! We’re back…its 2027 would you believe? And we’re starting the year with some excellent story-songs to mesmerise your children after their Christmas holidays. 

As usual our grey old afternoon will be packed with great live music, fun and games and delicious food from the kitchen (if you have any room left) to cheer us all up!

…and they all lived happily, ever after.

Doors open at 2pm for a themed art activity while you get your drinks in and settle in for your kids to be the stars of the show. Expect games, challenges, the legendary Kids’ Open Mic and a good timeless dose of LIVE MUSIC!

All tickets £8.50/ group of 4 £29 (save a fiver)/ 2yrs & under + Compass Card holders free

All ages (adults must be accompanied by their little ones)

Ticket holders can enjoy 20% off food for 2 hours before doors!
