THE PRISCILLAS
Having blazed a trail with their thrill-inducing shows and festival appearances across the UK and Europe, The Priscillas have shared bills with the likes of The Damned, Pussy Riot and Gene Loves Jezebel, as well as recording celebrated sessions for BBC 6 Music, Resonance FM, Boogaloo Radio, and are on current heavy rotation at Dublin City FM, Love FM in Japan, Independent FM in LA. They got to number 13 on the 365 Legacy Charts for their current single Angela, a song about the global women’s safety campaign #askforangela.
It's little wonder that The Priscillas’ status as Holloway’s bubble gum queens remain undiminished – and rightly so. Jenny Drag, founding frontwoman is joined by Adam Ant's drummer, Jola, Lene Lovich's Valkyrie on guitar, and bassist Taylor formerly of Kiria aka Sarah Vista to create a dynamic blend of crunchy guitars hooks, sweet harmonies and infectious pop sensibility. Duncan Reid & The Big Heads' Heidi Cotton steps in on guitar when duty calls.
“I walked away happy! All of you exuding personality. Till the next time thx for the fun time” - Rolo McGinty of The Woodentops about a recent performance at Brandon Rocks, Kennington, London
“Cracking song and video” - Steve Metcalfe of The Boys regarding their current single Angela,
