Doors open 4pm, show start at 4.30pm Early Birds ‘Rubber Soul.’ 1 hour long. Come and hear the beauty and magnificent album ‘Rubber Soul’ by the Beatles. Suitable for under 18’s, and for those who like an early night!! This is a gig, so bring ear protection for little music lovers if needed.

The Brighton Beach Boys are delighted to play a shorter early gig so younger people can see the show. Bring kids (age 8 and above) to their first gig and let them experience the magic of this classic album. We bring their forensic eye for detail to the the pop classic album  by The Beatles, ‘Rubber Soul.’

Boasting classic Lennon-McCartney compositions such as Norwegian Wood and Drive My Car, Michelle and The Word, this is an album that sees the songwriting duo take flight. This was the last time The Beatles would release two albums of original material inside twelve months, recording the album in a burst of studio work between 12th October and 11th November, all ready for a release before Christmas! Accompanied by the single release of ‘We Can Work It Out’/‘Day Tripper’, these songs see the band growing, becoming creatively unbeatable.

The album stands as a peak in Lennon’s career, a feat replicated by McCartney on Revolver, and marks the beginning of the rise towards further greatness achieved over the remaining years of the career of the band.
