The band was formed in 2018 by Chris Day. The band started with a group of players, of all ages keen to form a big band and share the love of jazz, swing and the big band sound. They pride themselves in being a relaxed and friendly group, providing musical entertainment for private events, open days, village or town festivals, vintage car rallies and more, in Sussex.
The Band plays a list of big band classics, jazz and swing numbers from the likes of Herbie Hancock, Josef Zawinul and Bill Withers, Nina Simone, George Gershwin.
With vocals from Susannah Goward and conducted by Lizzy Gregory.
