Join Ken Wood and the Mixers on a once in a lifetime musical journey around America to discover the roots of soul. This exciting new show, which premiered to rave reviews at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe, features a riotous eight-piece band, complete with horn section, on a laughter-laced, high-octane road trip to recreate the original spirit of the foot-stomping blues and soul classics that sound-tracked a generation.

The show features the songs of John Lee Hooker, Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett and many more, brought together in performances crackling with wit and energy. It follows in the footsteps of last year's successful Brighton Fringe show 'Amazing Stories of Blues and Soul' telling more stories of the origins of soul music and some of the great performers. So break out your sharpest threads, put on your dancing shoes and shake your booty on down to the Brunswick. Sure is going to be one hell of a party.
