Bedroom
CityHeart warming music; whether more
upbeat or slow and calm, that's a great way to describe Bedroom City's,
(the 17 year old Adam Gordon's) music. Drawing influences from mainly the
pop rock genre, but combining it with the day-dreamy ambient sound,
Bedroom City's music could change anybody's mood.
'Feeling slightly U2 influenced it has great guitar sounds particularly
in the impressive opening which sets the standard for both songs.' The

Friday 3rd The Lost Highway
- The Blue Hearts 8pm
£5/£4

Brighton band The
Blue Hearts are back with a new album "Jukebox
Of Maladies", a new sound & a new line-up. The sound is a
modern mix of influences from the Velvet underground to The Kings of Leon
and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Dubbing their new sound as ‘Neon
Rock’ the Blue Hearts music incorporates the brash eclectic tones of
rock and roll with the sexual intimacy of a downtown late night speakeasy.
Featuring pop tunes, hard rock rhythms and provocative lyrics mixed with
ethereal harmonies, electric violin and a whirlwind of guitar driven
crashing surf ambience.
‘A sparky and stylish slice of UK country-rock,full of urgency and passion’ - MOJO

THE
CAJUN DAWGS
combine Louisiana Cajun & Zydeco with Rockin' Swamp Blues,
Country and early Rock and Roll music, all served up with an
earthy authentic sound resonating back to the 40's and 50's. The
band demonstrates the great variety of influences to be found in the true sound
of the Louisiana Bayous and Prairies. A deep south sound track for dancing,
loving, crying and fighting...
