Rebel Dykes is a 2021 documentary that chronicles the vibrant, radical lesbian subculture in 1980s post-punk London, focusing on a tight-knit group of artists, musicians, and activists who met at Greenham Common peace camp and created an anarchic, sex-positive community, including opening London's first lesbian S&M club, Chain Reaction, and challenging norms around gender and sexuality. The film uses interviews, animation, and archival footage to tell this untold story of queer resilience and creativity in Thatcher's Britain, celebrating their intersectional ethos.
