Climate Justice Events is back! Join us for an unforgettable evening of live music featuring guitar virtuoso Richard Durrant (virtuoso guitarist) and local legends Hollow Hand, Sudanese oud expert Bashir Al Gamar, and contemporary folk duo (with a touch of blues, cajun, and klezmer) Milton Hide.
This time, we are hosting a special event to raise funds for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) who are doing vital work in conflict zones, especially in Gaza and Sudan.
The evening will focus on Sudan which is currently facing one of the world's most severe humanitarian crises. Since April 2023, fighting between armed factions has displaced eleven million people, with nearly three million fleeing the country. However, the crisis in Sudan, particularly in the Darfur region, has been ongoing for decades and the United Nations Development Programme has highlighted the country’s devastating droughts and the severe impacts of climate variability.
Come along and enjoy a night of inspiring music while supporting MSF's vital work in conflict zones.
